On Thursday, Sept. 27 the 10th Annual Oktoberfest was held in the world famous Myers Volkswagen Auto Haus at Clarke Fields Park. Oktoberfest Ottawa is Canada’s premier Fall Harvest Music Festival. With local performers, great food, beverages and games, this Bavarian inspired celebration has grown to be THE major fall festival in Eastern Ontario. This year’s festivities were made even more momentous after the devastation of the Tornados that hit Ottawa the previous Friday, Sept. 21. The aftermath of this disaster, with it’s destruction and loss upon the citizens of Ottawa, moved this community of Barrhaven to utilize this years festival to raise funds for those families affected by the tragedy.
