An Interview-style documentary based on the issue of Misogynoir in a city notorious for diversity and progressiveness and its effects on the young women who have been marginalized from that culture.

Miss. Understood is a three-part docu-series which delves into the unique experience of Black women in predominantly white Spaces (such as school, work and even the doctor’s office). Interacting in such environments often place Black women in the uncomfortable position of being misunderstood in spaces that are committed to misunderstanding them. Our goal for this series is to create a platform for Black women clarify their experiences, feelings and narratives without any objections to them. To transfer Black women from being misunderstood to Miss. Understood.
